I did wonder as soon as I clicked "publish".... a morbid fear gripped me whether I had sufficiently substantiated my arguments... therefore before I begin my next post I will just finish off on why I thought a wiki takeover would be a good one.

Despite wikis fame it is not well known that it has acheived credibility (despite all profs tellin u that DO NOT refer wiki ) there are considerable wiki users who strive to make it accurate. It is estimated that any faulty detail is removed within half a minute. (and remember this is not some big brother controlling it... this is you or me saying this is wrong and it should be changed ) Its important to remember the dynamic advantages in this. It only allows and I must emphasize this ONLY allows the stuff you read to be either extremely accurate or to be a shared common perception by a large number of users ( that is worthy of a couple of posts on its own.. so we ll talk about it some other time)

Now that being said if we are able to get academics to contribute this as well as an offshoot from google scholar (which as I mentioned before are pure articles) it would even further enhance the validity of what you or I read on it.

As in the comment mentioned (which by now I have almost forgotten to thank for... and if that sounded like it.. its NOT... lol ) whether its a subset or superset (yes i coined my word BIG DEAL ). One of the interesting thing about the Internet is its ability to destroy hierarchy. Now how would you define a subset... by typing in a world in google it leading you to wiki does that make google the subset because its leading you to a bigger set? Its a interesting question. After some thought I thought a reasonable way of solving this would be a dynamic link between the two rather than one being the bigger of the other. (THE only reason why we have come to think of a google as a "superset" is only its better info processing and NOT because it STORES that info.. though its sheer effiency has made this point murky )

and damn my response has taken up AN ENTIRE POST !... k ppl till next time....
